This piece is inspired by the decisions we make every day. Life and Death, a contrast so stark yet also strangely similar. Sometimes, we must choose to feel alive because the context in which we live leads us to exist in a heavy, empty, grey body. The rose is meant to represent the beauty and life emerging from the dark skull, but instead, it can only complement its beauty.

This piece is inspired by the eternal city, Rome.
The red weighs cruelty but the gold leaf enters with arrogance and reminds us of the total power and superiority of the empire. White acts as a medium and makes us wonder if the whole thing was dream or reality.
